LOVE'S IMPACT IN KENYA
We started Love Is Project with the intention of building an ethical supply chain of love that transcended geographical, linguistic, and cultural barriers to provide opportunities to female artisans in developing countries. We're meeting many of the UN sustainable development goals.

MEET HELEN
Before she worked with Love Is Project she faced many challenges. With only a primary education, she learned beadwork & sold at the local Maasai market after having her second child, struggling, living hand to mouth.
Now, Helen makes 15 times the local wage working with Love Is Project. This income allows her to pay for her children’s school fees and provide food for her family. She also bought 13 goats and a dairy cow, and now sells the milk to the neighborhood.
She also manages one of the Love Gardens too. She is 31 years old.

"What the world need more of now...LOVE!" - Chrissie

We went on a wild journey and appeared on Shark Tank Because nothing says love like dragging your 70 years old mom out of retirement to help with operations and finances, I brought her on the show too! ;-)

A QUICK P.S. FROM OUR FOUNDER
I believe LOVE is passion for what you do. Love Is Project is truly a labor of LOVE. Between my mother, Gladys, and myself, we singlehandedly run this organization full-time. We are the definition of a scrappy, big-hearted start-up always looking to meet the moment and jump in to help where we can. Powered by LOVE and a tribe of collaborators, mentors, friends, and a worldwide support system, Love Is Project exists. ♥
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support!
xo, Chrissie
